Artist Statement

Art to me has always been a soothing and tranquil experience. I enjoy paintings that cause me to stop for a moment and feel calm and at peace.

My goal as an artist has been to offer this serene feeling to others through my painting.

I draw on many sources for inspiration. The joy and warmth of family and friends, the peaceful quiet of a stroll through British Columbia forests and the mesmerizing sounds of the Pacific Ocean all help to create my paintings.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

My cards are also available at Oak Bay Florist and Local Treasures in Whippletree Junction. I have many works of art at Local Treasures in Whippletree Junction.

I also teach beginner & intermediate Watercolor lessons, beginner & intermediate Acrylics, Mixed Media Collage, Zentangle, Pen & Ink Rouging and card making.

I am now an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
